Camel Time

Hard to believe that winter has officially ended. The past few weeks have been a flurry of activity - lots of weaving, along with preparing natural and dyed alpaca fleece for sale, and all of the routine farm and animal  care tasks.

I also managed to squeeze in a five day trip with camels in the southern Flinders Ranges.  Walking with a small group of interesting people (the camels carried the heavy things), cooking on a campfire, and sleeping in a swag under the stars and a glorious full moon was a complete break from everyday demands and fantastic fun. I've come back refreshed and invigorated and full of ideas for new weaving projects.
