I purchased some gorgeous fibre made from recycled sari silk last week and have handspun the blue/green selection. It spins easily into a nicely textured slubby yarn, but would be hard work to spin evenly. I had planned to ply it with a finer plain coloured-wool, but changed my mind and plied it on itself. Quite pleased with the result - I think it will do nicely as an accent weft yarn.
Two more packets to go, mostly in the red/orange/pink range. Can't wait to get this on the loom!
